Swears of Joy sells a mix of one-of-a-kind, hand-altered vintage china and small-batch mugs. Every vintage piece is completely unique, so there is never an identical replacement available.

That said, here’s how I handle returns:

Returns Policy:

• If you order online, you have 14 days from receiving your order to let me know you'd like to return it, including if you've simply changed your mind. You then have a further 14 days to return it.

• Items should be returned in the condition they were received. You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty, damaged on arrival or I've made a mistake with your order.

• I don't offer exchanges. Every vintage Swears of Joy piece is one of a kind, so there is never an identical replacement available.

Refunds:

• If your order arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible and send photos of the item and packaging so I can sort it out.

• For change-of-mind returns, I'll issue your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned item, or evidence that you've sent it back, whichever is earlier.

• Your refund will include the price paid and the standard delivery charge. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, the additional delivery cost isn't refundable.

• Refunds will be made to your original payment method.

• You're responsible for return postage for change-of-mind returns. If an item is faulty, damaged on arrival, not as described, or I've made a mistake with your order, I'll cover the appropriate return costs.

Please Check Before You Buy:

• Please read the product description and look through the photos carefully before ordering. Vintage pieces will naturally show signs of their previous life, and these will be shown or described wherever relevant.

• Please also check the wording on the piece before ordering — “I didn't realise it had that word on it” isn't a fault with the item.

• None of this affects your statutory rights, including your right to cancel an eligible online order within 14 days of receiving it.
